Understanding our fees

At LNS Nannies, we believe in transparency, professionalism, and ensuring families fully understand how childcare placement fees work. Our fees reflect far more than simply ‘finding a nanny’.

20% reduced introductory placement fee

At LNS Nannies, we understand that finding the right childcare support is one of the most important decisions a family can make. As part of our 2026 Welcome Offer, families securing a full-time permanent nanny placement through LNS Nannies during 2026 will benefit from a 20% reduced introductory placement fee for a limited period.

This offer warmly welcomes new families to LNS Nannies whilst continuing to provide the same professional, supportive and safeguarding-focused service we are committed to.

Permanent Placements

Full-time, part-time and live-in
roles

Permanent placements usually refer to ongoing nanny roles such as full-time, part-time, live-in or long-term childcare arrangements.

Placement fee

For permanent placements, LNS Nannies typically charges:

12%

of the nanny's agreed annual gross salary

This fee is paid by the family and covers the professional placement process involved in sourcing and securing a suitable long-term childcare professional.

Worked Example

If a nanny earns:

£40,000 gross / year

Agency fee (12%):

£4,800

Excludes any applicable 2026 Welcome Offer discount.

Minimum agency fee

Some part-time or lower-hour roles may result in a smaller annual salary calculation. For this reason, a minimum placement fee may apply to cover the time, advertising, administration, safeguarding checks, interviewing and placement support involved, regardless of placement size.

Current minimum placement fee: from £900

Permanent vs Temporary

Which type of placement is right for you?

Permanent

Ongoing roles where the nanny is employed by your family on a long-term basis.

Temporary & Ad-Hoc

Short-term or flexible bookings, including babysitting, emergency cover and holiday care.
